Before joining Planning Alternatives, I spent 12 years at TIAA assisting clients with achieving their financial objectives. Prior to that, I used my chemical engineering degree working for various semiconductor companies in the automotive industry. Here, I work as part of a team that sets the investment direction for our company. My analytical side really enjoys diving into the details of different investments to understand how best to blend them into a coherent strategy. I'm a continuous learner, and I am energized by communicating with clients—in writing, in person, or via computer—to help sift through the "noise" and bring clarity to a sometimes-confusing industry.

Memorable client moment

I've had the opportunity to assist clients through two very challenging economic times: the Great Financial Crisis and the COVID pandemic. Helping people navigate such uncertainty and emotional stress has been especially rewarding for me.
